First Visit

Consultation appointments: Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time, having checked the location of the consultation rooms. It is also helpful if you bring your Medicare, Pension and Health Fund cards to ensure a smooth process. All consultation fees are paid for on the day of the appointment.
Procedure appointments: With respect to hospital admissions for procedures, the hospital will request you arrive 30-60 minutes prior to your appointment. Please ensure you have the admission paperwork, Medicare, Pension and Health Fund details with you. Please ensure you have checked as to your fees due on the day of the procedure (See Payment Terms).
Appointment Confirmations
All doctor consult appointments are confirmed by phone one to two days prior to the appointment.
All procedure appointments are confirmed by the hospital one week prior to the appointment.
Late Arrivals Policy
Late arrivals make it difficult for everyone.
We do understand that circumstances may arise unexpectedly, however, late arrivals tend to compromise the punctuality of service we are able to provide to you, as well as our other patients.
We do maintain a relatively tight schedule, and we make every attempt to begin your appointment at the time scheduled.
If you arrive late we reserve the right to reschedule the consultation to ensure that their next scheduled appointment does not have to be put behind.
If you believe you will be late it would be appreciated if you could call ahead and advise the reception as alternative arrangements may be possible.
Cancellation and No Show Policy
Appointment Cancellations
Due to the difficulty of filling last-minute cancellations, we respectfully request 24 hours' notice, for all consultation bookings, if you are unable to attend.
For all procedure bookings, we respectfully ask for as much notice as possible.
As we are a busy practice and day hospital, if a consult or procedure appointment is cancelled without notice (no show), you may be asked to pay the full amount at the time of rebooking
