Consultations
All consult fees are payable at time of appointment and a receipt given for claiming back your Medicare rebate.
A quotation of fees will be given at the time of your booking.
As we are a busy practice, if a consult appointment is cancelled without notice, you may be asked to pay the full amount at the time of rebooking.

Procedures - Hospital Billing
A quotation of fees will be given at the time of your booking.
If you have private health insurance that covers the types of procedures we perform, then your health fund excess is payable of the day of the procedure.
If you are self-funded (no private health insurance), the full hospital fee is payable on admission.
If you are an overseas visitor with no Medicare eligibility, you will be required to pay the full hospital fee on admission.
As we are a busy hospital, if a hospital appointment at Eastern Endoscopy Centre is cancelled without notice, you may be asked to pay the full amount at the time of rebooking.
Urgent referralsFor doctors only, please phone 07 38204555 Option 2.
We accept electronic referrals through Medical Objects but ask that you or your receptionist phones our booking staff prior to sending urgent referrals.
Our doctors are happy to take calls from referring doctors to discuss clinical cases and arrange urgent and semi-urgent appointments or hospital admissions.
We aim to provide urgent appointment availability within 2 weeks and semi-urgent appointment availability, including positive FOBT, within 4 weeks.
